From all indications, it appears that throwback jerseys and court designs will be all the rage during the 2019-20 season

A few seasons ago, a few teams introduced alternate basketball courts to match certain jerseys that they wear.

A regular posted the link to the NBA Reddit and people have been going back and forth on which one they like compared to the ones they don’t. The main courts that caught people’s eyes were the courts based off of throwback designs like the Toronto Raptors’ throwback court with the dinosaur prints going across the court as well as the Memphis Grizzlies court that brings back the old school Vancouver logo which will probably be paired with the Vancouver throwback jersey.

We also got to see the new design for teams with new courts or logos like the Golden State Warriors that will be playing in the Chase Center for the very first time this season. It seems though that the Warriors will have a few different court designs, one for every different jersey they wear.

They have a total of four different courts: one for their regular jerseys, one for their classic jerseys, one for their City jerseys, and a separate one for a different throwback jersey.

Now, the other team that has a slight change in the court and logo is the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are introducing the new logo as well as a slightly altered new court. They kept it original and chose to not have special courts.

We’re beginning to see more and more teams come around on some of their fire jerseys in their history, and I believe this is a trend that is just getting started. We’re going to see jerseys that perhaps we didn’t give credit for back them become the trendy again in 2019-20.

As is fashion in today’s day in age. Over the last few years, we’ve seen more and more teams embrace their historic logos. That won’t change this season as a few franchises have already announced and unveiled throwback jerseys that will be making a comeback.
