Tomas Satoransky
Tomas Satoransky is, by far, my favorite addition from the summer. Satoransky came over from the Washington Wizards in a sign-and-trade deal and was awarded a three-year, $30 million contract.
Satoransky played the majority of the season as a starter due to John Wall’s season-ending injury. While starting he averaged 11 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.6 assists while shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc. He also displayed his prowess as a floor general and his strong ability to finish around the rim.
Here are some highlights if you don’t know him:
Standing at 6-foot-7, he’s able to play and defend three positions. And will fit in seamlessly in the backcourt with Zach LaVine due to his off-ball effectiveness and talent to stretch the floor on catch and shoot opportunities. It’s not a secret that the Bulls are in need of a new point guard and, although they drafted Coby White, Sato currently fits this team needs right away.
For the Bulls to run a more efficient offense this season; Satoransky has to, at least, produce identical numbers from last season. They may not look flashy but those numbers will greatly impact, star players, LaVine and Markkanen’s success.
