8. Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic was able to burst onto the scene last year in a gigantic way. He pretty much wrapped up Rookie of the Year honors in the first couple of months of the season with his slick scoring ability and composure to make big plays in the clutch.

This season he’ll have an all-star caliber running mate in Kristaps Porzingis, and if he can return close to form or better than he was before suffering a torn ACL in 2017, the Dallas Mavericks could be a sneaky good team this season.

As it stands, pairing Luka and Kristaps should one of the most exciting new duos to keep an eye on this upcoming season.

7. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks were two games away from the NBA Finals just 4 months ago and now restart their journey to be NBA champions. When you think of must-see teams, I think having the reigning league MVP certainly helps your case.

The Bucks led the NBA in points per game last year and dominated on both ends of the floor. League MVP Giannis Antetokunmpo, appropriately nicknamed “Greek Freak” is a highlight reel all to himself. Giannis was second in total dunks last season. He’s a threat to go up and throw it down over you on every play because of his freakish athleticism and length.

The Bucks made sure to keep sniper big man Brook Lopez and added Wesley Matthews to the mix. All signs point toward another MVP caliber season for Giannis and one of the top seeds in the East, and that is going to be fun to watch.
