Jamal Crawford
Mr. Shake N’ Bake might be 39 years old now – which is a dinosaur age in the NBA – but nonetheless, his play has surprisingly not fallen off that much at this point of his career.
In Phoenix, Crawford joined a rebuilding situation where the organization was rightfully going to favor their young players and give them all the heavy minutes (Crawford only played 18.9 minutes a game), but after given more playing time, he also managed to score 51 points in the Sun’s season finale against the Mavs (Ayton and Booker didn’t play), which might be only a glimpse of what he still has left in the tank.
Considering how Crawford has made an NBA career being a microwave scorer off the bench, on a night where the game is ugly and the Lakers are lacking production from their supporting cast, Crawford could serve as that sparkplug.
And most importantly, he has a good spot-up game to still be effective, alongside LeBron and Davis, even if he doesn’t have the ball in his hands.
