Phoenix Suns: 29.5 (-110) – Under
I just talked about how I’m betting on the Spurs’ organizational excellence rather than their roster. Similar logic with the Phoenix Suns: I’m betting on their organizational failure rather than against their roster.
I like the young players on this team. They just added Ricky Rubio this offseason, Devin Booker is arguably the best young scorer in the game, Deandre Ayton had a nice rookie year, and I could write this whole article about how much I love Mikal Bridges. But for some reason with this organization, talent is never enough to win games. Strange right?
If the Suns do end up hitting the over on this one, it would be their first 30 win season since the 2014-15 season. In my opinion that’s almost equally as unbelievable as the Spurs stat from earlier. To operate a team with such little success for nearly a decade is inexcusable, but the Suns have mastered it.
I’m rooting for them to take a step forward because I’d love to see their young guys play in some meaningful games at some point their careers, but I won’t bet on it happening this year.
