NBA: Which team will finish third in the Eastern Conference?
By Marc Sherman
Decision
The Celtics, Pacers, and Nets all pose as viable threats to land that third seed. Which makes this decision difficult. But in the end, the Celtics will rise to the occasion and be the biggest threat to Milwaukee and Philly.
You can’t ignore all the talent on the Celtics roster. Last season, the talent was utilized ineffectively and caused problems that lingered throughout the entirety of the season.
As the season approaches, the bad has been shipped out and the new-look Boston squad looks to continue their path to a championship. Tatum becoming a focal point on the offensive end will be the x-factor in determining the success of Boston. Yes, I know, Walker is a ball dominant guard just like Irving.
But with less mouthes to feed and less ball dominant players to occupy the ball, the Celtics will be able to spread the love effectively.
Brad Stevens is, by far, the best coach out of the aforementioned teams. The Celtics will rid themselves of the bad taste they established a season ago and create a new era of prosperity.
This one goes to Boston.
