Marquee summer move: Re-signing Nikola Vucevic
The Orlando Magic are coming off a special season. They made a return to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years but fell short in their attempt to dethrone the Raptors in the first round. Nevertheless, it was considered a successful season.
It’ll be tough to top last season, or even replicate it, but re-signing Nikola Vucevic will give them as good of a job as possible in doing that. Plus, there’s the whole Markelle Fultz trade that should help this team. And Fultz is probably the biggest x-factor for this team this season.
If he can bounce back in a big way, it really changes the ceiling for the Magic. With no pressure an expectations, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
