Marquee summer move: Signing Trevor Ariza

The Sacramento Kings are an interesting team for me. Last season, they nearly shocked the masses by making the playoffs but ultimately fell off towards the end of the year. The hope is that this young team could build off that year and make a real move, but I’m not sure I see it.

The Kings didn’t really make improvements during the offseason, with the exception of adding veteran Trevor Ariza, and I’m not sure if their young core is really going to make that much of a jump this season.

I’m certain De’Aaron Fox is the real deal, but apart from him, there are major questions as to whether they have enough to really become a legit playoff team in the competitive Western Conference.
