Marquee summer move: Signing Malcolm Brogdon
As the Indiana Pacers attempt to improve in the Eastern Conference, adding Malcolm Brogdon is a good way in doing that. That was this team’s big move this summer and the hope is that it will pay dividends as the team patiently awaits the return of Victor Oladipo from injury.
It’s a bit of a shame that he won’t be back to start the season, but the hope is that he will be back in the Pacers’ lineup in December of January. In the meantime, Brogdon will be asked to help carry the load. Not to mention that the team also lost Bojan Bogdanovic in free agency to the Jazz.
The Pacers are still expected to be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference, but I fear they may get off to a slow start that will set the tone for the rest of their season. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
