Marquee summer move: Acquiring Kemba Walker

The Boston Celtics are what I like to call one of the biggest question marks team heading into the 2019-20 NBA season. They’re extremely talented on paper, but we still don’t know what to expect from this team. Kemba Walker was a great rebound after losing Kyrie Irving, but there’s no question that it was a step down in terms of overall talent.

And that’s not even talking about the loss of Al Horford. Still, they have young talent that could blossom this season in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Plus, there’s the huge x-factor that is Gordon Hayward.

With one of the best coaches in the NBA, I have little doubt that the Celtics will figure it out one way or another. However, I simply don’t know how high this team’s ceiling is. The Celtics will be a playoff team, but not much of a contender. And that’s OK.
