Marquee summer move: Losing Malcolm Brogdon
Simply put, the Milwaukee Bucks entered the offseason with the understanding that they can’t pay everyone. With that said, the biggest loser in that entire process was Malcolm Brogdon. Well, not entirely the biggest loser but one if he wanted to continue down this road with the Bucks.
He still got his money, but with the Pacers and not the Bucks. With the loss, Milwaukee is going to need some of their other players to step up to fill the void. The Bucks did land Kyle Korver and Wesley Matthews to help cushion the loss, but neither will have the impact that Brogdon had on the Bucks last season.
With all that said, the Bucks are still considered one of the contenders in the Eastern Conference. In fact, in some eyes, they might be the favorites. Is this the year that they finally get over the hump? Are you betting against Ginnis Antetokounmpo?
