Chris Paul will return to all-star form

After being traded from the Rockets to the Thunder, Chris Paul is going to be out to prove that he is still an elite point guard, in his 15th season.

Health has been an issue for Paul but he has also been fighting the effects of Father Time which reared their heads last year as we saw CP have his worst season since his rookie year.

However, a fresh start and a new team might be just what the doctor ordered for Paul to have a bounce-back season. The numbers still suggest that he is an all-star when healthy and since he’s going to have the added motivation of upping his trade value as much as possible so that he can hopefully find his way to a team that isn’t at the beginning of a rebuild, then I don’t see why we shouldn’t expect to see flashes of “LA” CP3 in the 2019-20 NBA season.

I don’t know where he’ll be playing after the trade deadline, but as long as he stays healthy, he’ll have the Thunder in the playoff mix out West while, at the same time, re-establishing himself as one of the truly elite point guards in the game.
