1. LeBron James and Anthony Davis

I know it’s kind of a toss-up between No. 1 and No. 2 on this list but I’ve gone with LeBron and the Brow for a few reasons.

First up, I’m not quite ready to give up on LeBron being the best player in the world just yet, especially since he’s fresh off a season which saw him miss the playoffs for the first time in 14 years and he’ll likely be more motivated than he’s ever been; at least since the 2011-12 season (following his collapse against Dallas in the 2011 Finals).

Second, I think many people have kind of forgotten just how good Anthony Davis is since he essentially got benched for the second half of last season. Before he requested to be traded from the Pelicans, he was putting up over 29 points, 13 rebounds, around 4.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.5 blocks a night. He does literally everything on the basketball court and he’s arguably the best and most versatile defender in the entire league.

And together, they should mesh extremely well (after some inevitable growing pains of course). We’ve seen how well Davis has fitted with great point guards in the past (guys like Jrue Holiday and Rajon Rondo) and LeBron is basically the best point guard in the world so this should be a match made in heaven for both guys.
