Michael Carter-Williams was the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Standing at 6-foot-6, MCW was taller than the average point guard. He would leave a good impression to start his career with a near quadruple-double in his NBA debut with 22 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists, and nine steals in a win against the defending world champion Heat.

He would go on to average 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game that season en route to winning the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award. However, midway through his second season, he was traded to the Bucks in a three-team trade with the Suns.

From that point moving forward, MCW would see a drop off in production each year, and after the Bucks traded him to Chicago he would never average double-digit points again. Currently, he has been a journeyman with his current team being the Orlando Magic as the backup point guard.
