Who will make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference? Here is our Around the Arc Eastern Conference playoff predictions
Today, we’re going to dive into my predictions for the Eastern Conference standings and how the playoff picture might shape up in the east in the 2019-20 NBA season (which is here at last).
While the East is certainly the easier of the two conferences to predict, there is still a lot of potential excitement and drama to be had (especially when it comes to the competition for the lower playoff seeds).
So let’s just get right into it…
*You can also check out the latest episode of the Around the Arc podcast where I also dive deep into my eastern conference standings prediction (listen below)!
1. Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are entering the 2019-20 season with much the same team they had a year ago with the two main losses being Malcolm Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic.
Now, those two will be missed but Milwaukee still has Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe and enough shooting and depth surrounding Giannis that they should still be in the thick of the race for the 1-seed.
And if the Greek Freak comes back with a jumper, just forget about it.
