NBA in Threes: Warriors struggle; Morant and Kyrie battle it out

Chicago Bulls
Zach LaVine if the Chicago Bulls is one of those players that came out of college with one real skill that basketball fans, in general, knew about. The boy could dunk!
Over his first five years in the NBA, there has been clear improvement in his game in at least one aspect across every metric.
The combination of a talented player willing to work hard is a near fail-proof recipe for success. If you’ve been surprised by LaVine’s development, now you’re in the know.
Unfortunately, this was not the be LaVine and the Bulls’ night. Just looking at the score alone gives the impression that the Bulls simply had a really bad game. But it’s not that the Bulls played terrible basketball. Their shot selection was pretty solid. They made seven fewer turnovers than the Raptors and they were able to score 12 points off those turnovers. They also had nine steals in the game.
What really happened is that the Bulls ran into a Raptors defensive effort that would have been a tough ask for any team in the league to defeat. The Bulls are a young team with considerable potential. In fact, even as a Raptors fan, I was prepared for a difficult game. Even I couldn’t have predicted what was about to happen.
