Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have been off to a hot start this season. The duo of Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic has not disappointed, combining for the bulk of the Mavericks’ scoring and rebounding through the first five games.

The Mavericks also have some solid role players around them, bringing in Seth Curry to provide a strong perimeter shooter to pair with Doncic’s ability to drive and find open teammates. Delon Wright and Jalen Brunson have helped to solidify the backcourt and Maxi Kleber has been able to hold his own in the frontcourt.

While it is still early in the season, Dallas has been remarkably economical offensively, ranking 4th in offensive efficiency and 4th in assist/turnover ratio. If they can keep up at this clip, they could find themselves not only in the playoffs but with a nice seed as well.
