•Jose Calderon announced his retirement but he won’t be far from the game. He’ll be stepping into the role of special assistant to the NBPA’s executive director, Michele Roberts. Congratulations on your retirement and new position, Jose. You’ll always be special to Toronto.
•Well hello, Devin Booker! Booker dropped 40 points in the Phoenix Suns game against the Philadelphia 76ers becoming the first team to hand Philly their first loss this season. I’ve seen Booker get so much shade online but I’ve always thought he was such an entertaining player. It’s nice to see him having some success early in the season.

•John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks has been suspended after testing positive for PEDs. He’s out for 25 games without pay although he is planning on appealing the decision.
Like Deandre Ayton on October 25th, Collins claims this was an accident. And I’m not going to say it wasn’t. I am going to say a couple of other things. First, it’s your job to be available to play for your team. You’re paid obscene amounts of money to do so. It’s your responsibility to know what you’re putting in your body.
Secondly, Ayton reportedly said:

"I took a supplement, which unbeknownst to me, had been contaminated with an illegal component."
Okay, wait. What did I miss? I mean, that comment reminds me of a Dr. Phil episode I saw recently discussing black market butt injections. You mean to tell me you were going to make $2.69 million dollars this year but you somehow can’t be sure your supplements aren’t, “illegally contaminated”!? I do not get it!
•The Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers gave fans their money worth in a 122-120 Charlotte overtime win. Devonte’ Graham did something a little special in that game.
