The 2019-20 NBA season has not disappointed thus far and has been littered with feel-good stories. Let’s take a look at the five best

The 2019-2020 season has been full of great games and many individually historic performances through the first month. However, now that the holiday season is upon us, I think it’s a good time to look back at some of the feel-good stories of this NBA season so far. Let’s begin with the reemergence of an old name.

Markelle Fultz is an NBA player

Considering how poorly Markelle Fultz started his NBA career, it wouldn’t have been a surprise if he was playing in China in 2022. But given how he has started his 2019-20 campaign, there is no chance of that happening.

Markelle Fultz has started off this season averaging a respectable 11.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 57.5 percent on 2’s and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line. The only flaw still remaining in Fultz’s game is that he is shooting a horrendous 21.2 percent on 3’s.

I’d like to consider this season Fultz’s ‘real’ rookie season and just forget those first two ever happened. If we were to compare him against the other rookies in this class Fultz would be top 10 in scoring, 3rd in assists and 3rd in steals.

This season has been very promising for Markelle Fultz and he most definitely has a long NBA career in front of him. If he is able to figure out his 3-point jumper he could really be a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor.
