Carmelo Anthony is BACK

By far the most heartwarming feel-good story of this NBA season. We all wanted to see Carmelo Anthony back in the league. There was absolutely no way his NBA career should end with him being cut by the Rockets.

Carmelo Anthony is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history and is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. And he is proving to everyone that he still belongs in the league. He may not be a good defender or an elite playmaker but the guy can put the ball in the basket.

Since his return, Melo is averaging 16.6 points and five rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent on 2’s and 37.5 percent on 3’s. These are great numbers for a guy who is your 5th best player and who’s role is to simply fill it up.

Carmelo Anthony said that this season won’t be his last and I think he’s proving that it shouldn’t be. He could have another two or three seasons in him if he keeps up this level of production. Now, all we need is to get Jamal Crawford on a team.
