We have reached the “unofficial” end of the first quarter of the NBA regular season. Here are five pretty unhelpful observations from the first period

Well, time really does fly when you are having fun.

Most teams in the league are approaching their 20th games of the regular season, marking the “unofficial” end of the first quarter of the 2019-20 NBA season. Boy, how quickly did that go?

And yes, I am well aware that the season holds 80 games for each team and that there are still 60 to go, they are just purely observations from what we have witnessed so far. Some may be a little obscure and open a can of worms, some may not necessarily be accurate as the season rolls on, but 20 games is a big enough sample-size to guess what the future may hold for some teams.

Whatever has not been covered in logic and statistics is covered by theories and irrational ideas where perhaps reason does not triumph over anything else really.
