Taking a look at three November takeaways and three December predications as we pass the first-quarter mark of the 2019-20 NBA season

The NBA season is about a quarter of the way done if you can believe that. It’s definitely still early, but that won’t be the case much longer. The first quarter of the season has revealed flaws, created surprises and provided storylines that would have been near impossible to predict just two months ago.

For example, who could have predicted Dion Waiters being suspended 10 games for having a panic attack after eating too many edibles on a team flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles? Everyone? Okay, bad example.

Still, the NBA never fails to deliver, and I’m sure December won’t be an exception. So, let’s recap some of the most relevant trends and takeaways from November and take a peek into what December might have in store.
