6. Philadelphia 76ers (15-7)

Entering this season, not many would argue with the fact the talent that the Sixers have in their starting five. From point guard to center, the Sixers have the best starting five in the NBA. However, for one reason or another, Philly has still been somewhat of a disappointment this season.

Perhaps that could be chalked up to early growing pains or the lack of shooting, but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on as the season unwinds. Do you trust the Sixers to make it all work by the end of the year?

5. Denver Nuggets (14-6)

The Denver Nuggets are another team that has managed to pick up where they left off last season. For a team that could’ve taken a bit of a step back this season, the Nuggets have managed to remain highly competitive and appear to be one of the best teams in the West.

There are still some very real questions regarding this team and whether or not they could win when it matters most, but as long as they have Nikola Jokic they’ll always have a puncher’s chance.
