Similar to the 2013 draft, this draft is automatically bumped up a few spots simply because Luka Doncic is so incredible. In just their second year, this draft is actually looking really good too. The top-end talent doesn’t stop at Luka, Trae Young (5th), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (11th), Marvin Bagley (2nd), Deandre Ayton (1st) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (4th) all look like future all-stars.

It’s still pretty early to completely judge this draft however, some of the guys that haven’t looked so great to start off their careers include Mohamed Bamba (6th), Collin Sexton (8th), Kevin Knox (9th), Jerome Robinson (13th) and Michael Porter Jr. (14th). However, there is still a lot of time for these guys to turn their careers around.

I think undoubtedly the steal of the draft is Luka Dončić which is crazy considering he was taken 3rd, but that is obviously way too low. Another potential steal of the draft is Mitchell Robinson who was taken 36th and has looked like an elite defender and rim protector.

Some other solid players to come out of this draft include Wendell Carter (7th), Mikal Bridges (10th), Miles Bridges (12th), Kevin Huerter (19th), Josh Okogie (20th), Anfernee Simons (24th), Landry Shamet (26th) and Devonte’ Graham (34th).
