One of the weirdest drafts in recent memory. There are a lot of great players, a lot of really bad players and the order in which they were taken seems as though the teams just drew them out of a hat.

One of the most infamous busts in NBA history is the 2013 number one overall pick Anthony Bennett who had absolutely no right being taken first overall in a draft that had Giannis Antetokounmpo who was somehow taken 15th.

In addition to Giannis, the best players taken in 2013 were Victor Oladipo (2nd), CJ McCollum (10th), Steven Adams (12th) and Rudy Gobert (27th). However, the worst players from this draft are pretty bad and include the likes of the aforementioned Anthony Bennett (1st), Alex Len (5th), Ben McLemore (7th), Michael Carter-Williams (11th) and Trey Burke (9th).

All that being said, the first round of this draft is super deep and included many other solid NBA role players such as Otto Porter (3rd), Cody Zeller (4th), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (8th), Kelly Olynyk (13th), Dennis Schröder (17th), Tony Snell (20th), Gorgui Dieng (21st), Mason Plumlee (22nd) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (24th).

The last interesting point about this draft is that there were virtually no good players drafted in the second round. The best player out of it was likely Mike Muscala at 44 who is a borderline NBA role player.

All in all, a draft that includes Giannis Antetokounmpo has automatically bumped up a few spots simply because Giannis is so great.
