This draft is interesting because it has a lot of really great players but also some not so great players that were drafted quite high. All in all, I think it’s a great draft, regardless of where the players were drafted, this draft has some of the best players in the NBA.

The draft started off with a generational talent in Anthony Davis at number 1 and quickly dropped off with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (2nd) who is nothing more than a decent role player. However, it picks up again at number 3 with two-time all-star Bradley Beal.

Outside of the top 3, there were also some great players taken such as Damian Lillard (6th), Andre Drummond (9th) and Draymond Green (35th). However, in addition to MKG, some other terrible picks include Thomas Robinson (5th), Kendall Marshall (13th), Andrew Nicholson (19th) and Jared Sullinger (21st).

The depth of this draft, however, is one of the best of the decade. Mid-late first and second-round picks such as Harrison Barnes (7th), Terrence Ross (8th), Austin Rivers (10th), Jeremy Lamb (12th), Maurice Harkless (15th), Evan Fournier (20th), Tomas Satoransky (32nd), Jae Crowder (34th) and Will Barton (40th). These guys are all solid role players and will have very long NBA careers.

The two biggest steals of this draft are, as mentioned, Draymond Green at 35 as well as Khris Middleton at 39. These guys have both been all-stars and have contributed to championship-caliber teams. These guys are absolute steals for second-round picks.
