NBA Power Rankings: Giannis, Bucks prove they’re the team to beat
18. Orlando Magic (12-17)
Losers of three in a row, the Orlando Magic have had an up-and-down first third of the season. After making the playoffs a year ago, many expected them to follow up that performance by solidifying themselves as a playoff lock this year in the East.
In short, that hasn’t happened and this team lacks scoring on the wing. Markelle Fultz has had some nice moments this season, but it’s clear that he probably won’t ever be the player many thought he’d be coming out of college.
17. Sacramento Kings (12-17)
For the most part, all things considered, the Sacramento Kings have been pretty much everything we expected them to be this season. In the Western Conference, they don’t have enough talent to compete with the rest of the contenders at the moment. De’Aaron Fox is really the only factor that could change all that in the coming years.
