The Heat signing Jimmy Butler

The enormous contract he signed had many questioning the move on both sides, but Jimmy Butler is the major reason why the Miami Heat have one of the best records in the East right now.

There is no doubt that Jimmy had a better chance at winning in Philadelphia and he’s rightfully received criticism for all his talk about wanting to win and not caring about the circumstances, but despite the effect Jimmy’s age might have on the Heat in the long run, right now, the team is in a very good place.

Albeit, there is no question that the moment of truth will come during the postseason with Jimmy being the lead guy since his Chicago days. One must not forget, the Sixers went to the Western Conference finals last season and were able to push the defending champs to seven games.
