LA Clippers: Get to the playoffs healthy and avoid the Lakers until the WCF

As it currently stands, the LA Clippers are sitting in the third seed in the Western Conference.  Though, just before Christmas Day, the Clippers were the 4th seed. With the Lakers being the No. 1 seed, it would mean that the two teams would meet in the second round of the playoffs.

While the team continues to do everything it can to get to the playoffs with a healthy Paul George and Kawhi Leanord, they should also do everything it can to avoid the Lakers as much as possible in the first two rounds of the playoffs. There’s only one team that can beat this Clippers team in the seven-game series, and that’s the Lakers.

Los Angeles Lakers: Add one more offensive piece for the stretch run

The Los Angeles Lakers, for the majority of the season, have been the best team in the Western Conference. They currently hold the best record in the conference and have two of the three best players. Although, especially after losing their first two games against their biggest competition, the Clippers, there’s no question that this team could use some added insurance.

If the Lakers could find a way to add one more offensive piece for the stretch run, it would make this team that much more dangerous – and it could be the difference between winning an NBA Championship and losing in the Western Conference Finals.
