Memphis Grizzlies: Continue to develop their young talent

Entering this season, not much was expected from the Memphis Grizzlies. Many believed that Ja Morant would be on his way to an NBA Rookie of the Year campaign, which he is doing, but not many expected the Grizzlies to be just two games out of the final playoff spot in the West through the first 30 games. Yet, here we are.

Nevertheless, the Grizzlies should continue to develop their young talent which is the one variable that can carry them back to relevancy in the West sooner rather than later.

Miami Heat: Find a resolution on Dion Waiters

The Miami Heat have been one of the biggest surprises in the Eastern Conference this season. They’re currently sitting in the third spot of the Eastern Conference and have done so even without one of the team’s biggest contributors, Justise Winslow, out of the lineup for the majority of the year.

Though there is one big black cloud hovering over the heads of the Heat – and that is the situation that is Dion Waiters. It’s looking more and more like Waiters won’t play another game for the Heat this season, but has reportedly refused to consider a buyout. He’s currently considered one of the most untradable contracts in the NBA right now. The Heat is stuck, but the hope is that they can find a resolution soon.
