28. Cleveland Cavaliers (10-22)

The Cleveland Cavaliers made news a few days ago when they acquired Dante Exum from the Jazz in exchange for Jordan Clarkson. If nothing else, Exum will provide the Cavs with another young player that they could potentially build with.

Exum may not be the same high ceiling prospect that many graded him out to be when he was drafted in 2014, but he’s only 24 years old and has flashed some potential during his first few years in the league. If he can remain healthy, it’s a nice gamble for the Cavs.

27. Golden State Warriors (9-25)

The Golden State Warriors are certainly not having the season that they envisioned, but have been playing much better over the last week. The Warriors have won four of their last five games and had an impressive showing on Christmas Day in which they beat the Rockets on National TV.

This likely won’t spark a mid-season awakening from the team, but it is to see that something is beginning to click with the injury-riddled squad.
