NBA Trade Rumors: 5 possible landing spots for Andre Drummond

Perhaps this is a bit of a cop-out, considering Woj already told us that the Atlanta Hawks are interested in Drummond. So let’s try to understand why this would be a good move for the underwhelming Hawks. For one, he’d be a fit next to John Collins and Trae Young.

While the team has fallen short of expectations this season, Young is an absolute superstar and Collins is a good player in the making. Drummond would make the offense easier for Young and would give him another weapon on that end of the floor. He’d also make life a lot easier on defense and would grow along with this team’s young core.

It really just comes down to how much the Hawks are willing to give up. If the price is right, the Hawks are a team that could afford him (assets-wise) and one that would have enough salary-cap space to sign him to a max deal during the summer.
