NBA Trade Rumors: 5 possible landing spots for Andre Drummond
Miami Heat
Much like the Celtics, the Miami Heat has also been one of the biggest surprises in the Eastern Conference. They’re currently sitting in the third seed and are just a half-game back of Boston for the second seed. Nevertheless, if there’s one big flaw on this team it’s the fact that they lack a true interior defender.
Bam Adebayo is one of the best overall defenders but has struggled with bigger offensive weapons. Adding a true center could be the difference in this team making a deep playoff run to the team losing in the first round. While Andre Drummond might not be the ideal target, now that he’s officially on the block, at the very least, he’s a name that the Heat should consider.
Drummond checks all the boxes on what the Heat could use, and would make Bam that much better on both ends of the floor. He would also make life a lot easier for their wing defenders and would certainly help the team’s interior offense.
Question is, would it be too costly of a move?
