If nothing else, the Toronto Raptors are a team to keep an eye on. They might not have Kawhi Leonard on their roster anymore, but they’re still one dangerous team in the Eastern Conference. Led by Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry, the Raptors are one of the stingiest defensive teams in the conference and are deep enough where they are still staying afloat despite a few key injuries.

I can’t imagine that the Raptors are going to sit still at the NBA Trade Deadline. Whether they’re buyers or sellers remains to be seen, but only 2.5 games back of the second seed in the East, I find it hard to believe that this team will simply throw in the towel at the midway point of the season.

So when a star comes available, such as Andre Drummond, you have to throw a team like the Raptors in the mix. Masai Ujiri is as good as they come in terms of team executives, and you can expect him to try and improve his team ahead of the playoff push.
