Cleveland Cavaliers

Change needed: Lose more games

The Cavs need to trade Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson in order to acquire future assets, give more minutes to young guys and lose more games to get a higher pick in the draft.

Dallas Mavericks

Change needed: A consistent frontcourt partner for Kristaps Porzingis

The Mavericks could look to trade for a center to pair with Porzingis for the rest of this season. A guy like Tristan Thompson or Steven Adams could work nicely with Kristaps.

Denver Nuggets

Change needed: More minutes for Michael Porter Jr.

MPJ has looked like a stud lately as he has started playing somewhat consistent minutes. The Nuggets should look to trade guys like Will Barton and/or Michael Beasley to open up minutes for Porter and to sell high on those guys while they still can.

Detroit Pistons

Change needed: Get value for Drummond while you still can

The Pistons likely aren’t re-signing Drummond this summer after all this trade talk but it looks like they could still get a decent first-round pick for him. Don’t wait and lose him for nothing. Get a first-rounder while you still can.

Golden State Warriors

Change needed: Health

Similar to the Nets, the Warriors just need to get healthy. Once Steph and Klay come back they will once again be among the leagues best but for now, they should continue to lose games in hope of getting a higher pick to possibly be used in a future trade.
