Going toe-to-toe with the Black Mamba

Kobe Bryant is very respected around the NBA — for good reason — therefore, when he hands out a compliment, you know you were doing something correctly. When he was still playing, Bryant would often describe how Westbrook had some of his Mamba Blood.

Perhaps, Kobe came to that conclusion after this moment that Stacey S selected occurred:

“My favorite Russ moment was when he hit that unbelievable circus shot against the Lakers because it was against Kobe’s Lakers.”

Skying over Shane Battier

The next Westbrook memory involves one of his prolific slam dunks. In 11 years with the Thunder, the Brodie threw down approximately 514 dunks, the fewest amount of slams Russ committed came in his sophomore season when he dunked a modest 26 times. L.George’s choice as his favorite Westbrook slam was an easy call for him:

“My favorite Westbrook moment was, without doubt, his dunk on Shane Battier when Russ was in his third year.”
