If the New York Knicks are able to turn the $15 million expiring contract of Marcus Morris into a first-round pick that would be an amazing return. I think it is more likely they receive a second-rounder but a first-rounder isn’t impossible especially considering the Heat’s pick will likely be late in the round.
Morris would fit right into with what the Heat are and is. Morris will defend, can hit the outside shot and does all the little things that playoff contenders need. He’d be an ideal fit at Erik Spoelstra’s disposal.
The Miami Heat has so many expiring contracts and to turn one of those into a really solid role-player that could help them in the playoffs would be a great return. Especially if that’s not all they do.
