NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring seven deals that would make sense for all teams involved at the trade deadline

With the NBA trade deadline a few days away, we explore at a few of the most realistic trade ideas that would be beneficial to all teams involved.

We begin with the Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers making a move that would help both sides.

Clippers land Bogdanovic

*Kings also receive a 2020 first-round pick

The Clippers appear to be one creator short, so they get a guy in Bogdan Bogdanovic who can run the second unit with Lou Williams and who also fits around their two stars. Richaun Holmes has quietly been a very good center this year in Sacramento, he gives LA dynamic paint-finishing and more defensive versatility than their other big men options.

Since Sacramento’s playoff hopes appear remote, they turn two expiring contacts into long-term pieces at team-friendly salaries in Ivica Zubac and Landry Shamet. These two players may not necessarily have star-upside, but they should be valuable contributors on the Kings going forward.

They also receive the Clippers’ first-round pick for this year. Jerome Robinson is just a salary filler in the deal, as he has not yet shown that he is an NBA player.
