Cavs send Kevin Love away, finally

Cleveland finally moves on from Kevin Love and gets a young wing in Bridges and two expiring contracts in return. Mikal Bridges should fit well next to the Cavs’ two ball-dominant guards, and they can hope that his odd struggles from deep this season are an aberration.

Although Tyler Johnson and Dario Saric are upcoming free agents this offseason, they are still young enough that Cleveland could look to re-sign them.

Phoenix gets its long-term power forward in Kevin Love. The Suns will have to believe that Love will supercharge the offense because a core of Booker/Love/Ayton is very challenged defensively.

Since they have two other young forwards in Kelly Oubre and Cameron Johnson, dealing Bridges does not have to be a costly loss for the Suns.
