NBA Trade Rumors: 8 bold predictions for deadline day

The Lakers will not trade Kyle Kuzma but will land a new point guard

There has been plenty of smoke around the Los Angeles Lakers making a deal as the NBA Trade Deadline approaches, and there’s a good chance that they’ll be busy in the next couple of days. Although, I don’t think they’re going to move Kyle Kuzma by deadline day.

Even though he’s probably the player on the team that carries the most trade value at this point, I find it hard to believe that they’re going to find equal value (in their opinion) by deadline day. With that said, I’m going to predict that they land a point guard to add to their backcourt depth.

The Lakers are in desperate need of a point guard and while they’re likely not going to have enough to land a target like Derrick Rose, I believe that they won’t let the deadline pass without adding to their backcourt.
