If there’s going to be one big name that will get moved at the trade deadline, I’d have to assume that it’s going to be Clint Capela. The Houston Rockets are motivated to shake up their roster and Capela is a hot name on the trade block and is gaining traction on possibly being moved before the deadline.

The Atlanta Hawks are a natural fit, considering that they’ve already had rumored interest in Capela before. The Hawks are also a team that could help facilitate a multi-team trade and could take on a player like Capela. Plus, the Hawks seem motivated to find a nice running mate for Trae Young. Capela would be an ideal fit next to Young too.

This trade would make even more sense if they don’t want to pay John Collins big money in a couple of years when he’s set to hit the restricted free agent market. My gut tells me that Clint Capela will be a Hawk by the end of the week.
