The Spurs will trade LaMarcus Aldridge

While the San Antonio Spurs aren’t technically dead in the water, it’s becoming clearer and clearer that this team is in desperate need of a shakeup. Whether that’s a complete rebuild or not is entirely the front office’s decision, but the team should probably think hard about trading LaMarcus Aldridge before his value really begins to tank.

He’s a prime candidate to be moved at the deadline too; he has one year (after this season) remaining on his contract and would not only help whichever team trades for him this season but also next year.

Aldridge is still a productive scorer and efficient enough where he’s still a plus player while he’s on the floor. His defense is certainly a concern but if he could certainly be hidden in the right system. Aldridge could throw a wrench in the second half of the season if he falls to the right team, and if the Spurs actually elect to move him.
