Terence Davis

Contract: $898K (2020/21 option)

Trade Value: C+

Terence Davis is in the midst of a solid breakout season, adding to the growing list of undrafted talent brought up through the Raptors system. The young guard has shown flashes of great play in the opportunities he’s gotten because of injuries to other Raptors this season. It’s difficult to avoid comparing Davis to fellow undrafted guard Fred VanVleet and his journey through the Raptors system only a few years ago.

Averaging 16.6 minutes a game, Davis has made the most of his time on the court with his efficient offensive game. Shooting just under 40 percent from 3-point range, Davis has become a reliable shooting option that creates his own offense with the ball. At the free-throw line, Davis has shot a nearly perfect 94.4 percent, and paired with his ability to attack the painted area makes him a headache on defense.

Despite this, Davis was notably snubbed from the NBA Rising Stars game, drawing the attention of the media.

Davis’s game is still fairly raw, still showing indecision and lack of experience at moments throughout the season. But any team looking to take a chance on a young, promising guard with a ton of upside will definitely give Davis a look.
