Taking a closer look at the five biggest losers on NBA Trade Deadline day

The NBA Trade Deadline has officially come and gone. What was largely expected to be a quiet deadline day ended up to be one of the most chaotic and strange ones in league history. And it all started with a four-team, 12-player deal that happened a couple of days ago.

It continued with an Andre Iguodala trade and crescendoed with D’Angelo Russell, Andrew Wiggins, and Andre Drummond being traded in the waning hours before the trade deadline. However, not every team could come away as a success. There were some contenders that weren’t quite willing to part ways to land “their” guys.

And then there were the “sellers” that weren’t exactly willing to sell some of their most valuable veteran pieces. Now that the dust has settled, this is a good time to look back on what exactly transpired and how it will impact the rest of the season moving forward.

We’ll get to the winners of NBA Trade Deadline day eventually, but first, let’s take a look at the five biggest losers.
