Breaking down who really won the NBA Trade Deadline deal between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors

Another NBA trade deadline has come and gone and it didn’t disappoint. Between the Houston Rockets making moves to push the boundaries of unwatchable basketball and also getting the chance to re-discover that Brandon Knight is still employed by the NBA, it was a pretty entertaining 48 hours before the clock struck 3:00 p.m. ET last Thursday.

But perhaps the most interesting Woj-bomb of the week was when the Minnesota Timberwolves sent Andrew Wiggins and a couple picks to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for D’Angelo Russell.

I think both teams improved in their own way, but it wouldn’t be the NBA trade deadline if we didn’t pick a winner, so let’s dive in a bit deeper to the trade that made the biggest waves last week.
