Kyle Lowry – a questionable reserve

Kyle Lowry is a household name, which has the capability to give him the edge over some lesser-known players in All-Star nominating. Be that as it may, just like Mitchell, Lowry is an excellent player that simply did not deserve the spot on the team over certain players who have been having better seasons thus far.

Lowry has played in the All-Star game five times prior to this coming game, which proves he normally has what it takes, but this season specifically he’s played in 39 games and is averaging less than 20 points a game. He’s just under top-5 in points per game for guards in the Eastern Conference with players above him that have played more games not receiving nominations.

The NBA All-Star game is prone to be accused of being just a popularity contest and Lowry, despite him being a reserve meaning fans don’t vote for him, maybe another piece of evidence for that.
