Chris Paul – a questionable reserve

An argument could be made that the now 10-time All-Star is having somewhat of a bounce-back year on a surprisingly solid Thunder team, but the reality is Chris Paul has no business being nominated this season.

The Thunder, this year specifically, are a team a lot of NBA fans are rallying behind as their preferred underdog with Chris Paul being the head of the odd-looking roster. An argument could also be made that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s also been having quite the season in his first stint with OKC, deserved the spot over CP3.

Regardless, the Thunder shouldn’t have anyone going to Chicago this year. They’re a new-look team that’s a lot of fun to watch but there’s better All-Star-worthy talent out there, especially in the West.
