Ranking the top 10 most valuable (blue chip) cornerstone players in the NBA

Which cornerstone NBA players would you start your franchise with? We examine the top 10 most valuable commodities (blue chips) in the NBA today. We begin with an honorable mention, that could be on the rise in the not-so-distant future.

The Process is an absolutely dominant force when healthy. He’s a mountain of a man (7’0″, 280 lbs), and naturally great for attendance (which directly links to bottom-line revenue).

In order to win with him though, you likely can’t make him the focal point of a team, which caps his upside on this list as you’d require the proper pieces around him to win a Championship. He’s also just 25 years old, though questions remain over how durable he can be given his size.
