NBA: 8 trends to watch post-All-Star break

Luka Doncic’s 3-point shooting
After a hot start, Luka Doncic has quietly struggled to shoot the ball from deep (only converting on 31.2 percent of his triples since the first month of the season). As of right now, Dallas is one of the ten-best offensive teams since 2000.
With the Dwight Powell injury, they will need more from everyone if they want to maintain that pace. Kristaps Porzingis has upped his scoring as of late. Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway Jr. have been on fire. And Delon Wright has scaled up his playmaking load.
However, the story of the Dallas Mavericks’ season will largely be written on whether Luka Doncic rediscovers his outside touch. Opposing teams will always respect his step-back 3, but it is crucial that it becomes a legitimate threat again.
