The Oklahoma City Thunder will win a playoff series

Chris Paul has the Oklahoma City Thunder thriving this season. Coming into the year, most thought that the Thunder would drop out of the playoffs for the first time since 2015. However, Chris Paul, with the help of many other talented players on the roster, have boosted this team to the current sixth seed in the West.

There’s a good chance that the Thunder will play the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. Whether that happens by the Dallas Mavericks jumping the Thunder causing this to be a 2-7 matchup, or if it happens by the Rockets jumping the Nuggets resulting in it being a 3-6 matchup. Either way, I think these two teams will meet in the playoffs, and I believe that the Thunder will defeat the Nuggets in a seven-game series.

The Nuggets are a very solid NBA team, but just last season they had to use all seven games to beat the Spurs, and then they got handled in the next round by the Trail Blazers. I don’t believe that this is a winning playoff team at this point in time. As the team gets older and more experienced, they will begin to win more playoff games, but I don’t think that happens this year. The experienced Thunder will take out the Denver Nuggets.
